Our celebrants have been trained to a high standard by White Rose Ceremonies® and work to strict ethical and professional standards. The profiles for each member of our team are below and we work predominantly in Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Hertfordshire and the West Midlands.
She is a professional, experienced speaker and facilitator. She has been involved all her life with people at different stages of their lives and supported many weddings, christenings and funerals. As a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development), Rebecca has worked with people in employment and training for over 30 years.
Following a private legal ceremony at Gretna Green, Rebecca and her husband David had a happy and emotional Civil Wedding Ceremony on a beautiful beach in Norfolk surrounded by family and friends.
Prior to this and, following a close personal bereavement, Rebecca made the decision to become a Civil Celebrant so that she could help couples and families have access to ceremonies that focus on and celebrate the lives of the people involved, at whatever stage of life they are at.
Rebecca and her husband David established White Rose Ceremonies® to, quite simply, provide other people with ceremonies that have relevance and meaning.
Dionne Broadfield is our Celebrant in the Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Telford and Worcester areas. Dionne has worked within the Customer Service sector and has over 20 successful years in management of Contact Centres and leadership of people. She has worked for some great household names – Legal & General, Virgin Media, Vax and Worcester Bosch to name but a few. In 2015 she achieved a Diploma in Management & Leadership from the European College of Business & Management.
Dionne strives to combine her knowledge and experience gained from all of these areas with the professional, personalised and empathetic delivery of ceremonies for her clients. Whilst always enjoying ceremonies that she has personally attended over the years, they were very generic and lacked creativity, imagination or individuality.
Dionne works with people so they have some truly memorable moments on their special day and we are extremely pleased that she is part of our team.
Laura Tod is our Celebrant in Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. She is a qualified secondary school teacher based in Cambridgeshire. Laura achieved a first-class degree at Cardiff in Secondary Drama Education and has been working as a drama teacher for the last 6 years. She loves all kinds of theatre and dance, and enjoys directing plays and musicals with her students. More recently, Laura has taken on a pastoral role within her school, which has allowed her to work closely with students and families that may be going through difficulties.
As a newly-wed herself, Laura understands the pressures and challenges putting on a wedding can present. She also understands what a vital role the celebrant can play in helping a couple shape their ceremony to reflect their values and love for one another. Laura is passionate about helping inspire creativity and individuality, and draws upon her experiences as a mentor, teacher and dramatist to help couples realise their dream wedding.
We are extremely pleased to have Laura on the team at White Rose Ceremonies®. Her calm, professional yet creative and enthusiastic personality brings confidence that your ceremony will be exactly what you want it to be.
Pam McCarthy is our Celebrant in Cambridgeshire and the Norfolk borders. She is a calm, professional and warmly enthusiastic celebrant who is passionate about quality and high standards. Pam is Mum to two boys, Granny to Tilly and is very happily married to Simon. She enjoys entertaining and loves making delicious food, sharing it with friends and family. The most important things in her life are her family, friends, travel and her dog Sam. One of her favourite activities is going to her local flower club, where she thoroughly enjoys watching the creation of many beautiful flower arrangements. Pam loves working with people, finding out what their loves are and helping them turn their dream ceremony into reality.
A romantic at heart, Pam is passionate about creating happy and memorable events and loves a happy ending. Perfect skills for a celebrant with White Rose Ceremonies®.
